French Antique Empire style complete dining set comprising a large sofa which would easily seat 3 with cushions and 4 chairs fabricated late 19th early 20th century.
Decorated with rich carvings some highlighted in gold,fluted pilaster legs and brass castors to the front 4 legs of the sofa and the front 2 of each chair.
The upholstery is a dusky pink satin style with floral striped bands sumptuous and stylish is the best way to describe this ensemble.
Condition
Really very good solid and clean apart from a small (water) stain on 3 of the chairs in the back corners a tiny hole on the sofa and another tiny flaw in the material next to the hole all these problems can be seen but they do not detract from its beauty and only verify its age.
