A truly beautiful and unusual antique bronze figural candelabra table lamp, featuring a seated female harpist beneath an elaborate two-arm candelabra.
This is a particularly decorative and unusual piece, with a substantial cast figure of a lady playing the harp, supporting an ornate bronze candelabra above.
The candelabra features beautifully detailed scrolling arms, foliage, floral decoration and a decorative central finial. The contrast between the golden bronze-coloured candelabra and the darker brown patinated figure gives this lamp wonderful depth and character.
This would make a wonderful statement lamp for a traditional or period home, library, study, drawing room, bedroom, console table or eclectic interior. It would also make an unusual gift for a musician, harpist or collector of antique figural lighting.
Condition
The lamp has been converted/electrified for use as a table lamp and currently has two candle-style bulb holders. The original candle cups and decorative elements remain, including traces of old candle wax which add to its aged character.
Antique condition with a patina of time in places and would benefit from a clean and polish a little dusty in places I prefer to leave alone in case you like that condition.
The cable looks new the E14 bulb sockets are wooden type and work really well, the false candle tubes are original and show signs of wear and time, the cable is good for Europe Usa canada and UK For safety, the electrical components should be checked by a qualified electrician or good diyer before use, there is also no plug attached.
