I present to your attention another favorite of mine: a jar for biscuits / cookies / sweets / sugar, in the Art Nouveau style of blue opal glass on the bottom, smoothly turning into shades of yellow on top. Iris flowers are hand-painted on the front of the jar. Perfect combination of glass and handle with metal lid. The lid is decorated with a pattern of flower baskets.

The product is unmarked, without markings, but probably made in France, as the shape and design closely resemble the work of Legras & Cie. or Mont Joye & Cie.

Good condition with some wear, including typical darkened and frayed spots on the metal, slight scuff marks on the design, no chips or cracks.
